We are a collegiate motorsports competition team that designs, builds, and competes a Formula-style electric race car every year.
Traditional teams operate on a multi-year design cycle. At Texas A&M Formula Electric, we do things a little differently. We pride ourselves on a 1-year design cycle, boasting a completely new team every single year. We learn more, challenge ourselves more, design more, and build more, creating higher caliber engineers.
Our 2024 competition car, AME24, boasts a 0-60 of 3.2 seconds, a top speed of 80 miles per hour, and 103.7 HP in power. AME25? Even faster.
